We used these in centerpieces for a family wedding gathering. We put some in various height cylindrical vases with fairy lights at a food table and some in water with a floating candle on top and a submersible tea light in the bottom with colored crystals at the guest tables. They were beautiful! The bead garlands did not sink to the bottom without water and did not float in water, they held had enough strength to keep their place in the jars. We just hung a small strand over the top of the ones not in water to make sure. I would recommend these bead garlands.
